Interested in reporting science-based stories? Are you conducting research that you think should be communicated to the general public? Do you value science education?
If you fall into these categories or just have a general interest in science communication, please join us for the inaugural meeting of the Indiana University Science Writers on Wednesday, February 13 at 5 pm. The meeting will take place in Ernie Pyle Hall (7th street and Woodlawn, next to IMU), Room 214.
Our group aspires to use text and multimedia to share current scientific issues with a broad audience. We hope to give members: a forum to discuss and practice science writing, the chance to work with local media organizations and an opportunity to network.
