Summer 2013 Animal Exhibits Internship

 

WONDERLAB Museum of Science, Health and Technology

The exhibits department at WonderLab works diligently to provide and maintain the large variety of exhibits enjoyed by approximately 80,000 visitors a year.  WonderLab’s live animal collection consists of a host of reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods, a honeybee observation hive, and a marine coral reef aquarium.

Objective:

To give the student hands-on experience in the many aspects of WonderLab’s animal exhibits department including the creation, improvement, and maintenance of animal exhibits.

 

Type:  Unpaid (unless eligible for summer work-study)

Time Commitment:  6-10 hours per week, weekend availability preferred.  May be combined with other WonderLab internship positions.
