We are excited to announce that developmental biologist and Nobel Prize winner Eric F. Wieschaus will visit Indiana University in order to give the 31st Tracy M. Sonneborn Lecture. His talk, “Cellular Mechanics and Cell Shape Change during Drosophila Gastrulation,” is scheduled on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 4:00 p.m., in Myers Hall 130.
Professor Wieschaus and his research team investigate the genetic mechanisms controlling pattern formation and cell shape change during Drosophila (fruit fly) development. To learn more, visit his Website (http://www.molbio1.princeton.edu/wieschaus/).
