Biodiversity (Biology L307) – a new lecture and lab for bio majors!

Biodiversity is a new 3‐credit lab/lecture course that will be offered Fall semester, 2014. It meets once per week Monday afternoons from 1:00 ‐ 5:00 PM at the IU Research and Teaching Preserve Field Lab (near the IU Golf Course, instructions will be provided). The goal of the course is to gain a deeper understanding of the diversity of life on Earth, their defining characteristics and factors that generate and maintain that biodiversity. There will be an emphasis on laboratory and field experiences, in addition to lectures, readings and guest presentations.
