Summer Job Announcement
Department of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry
Dr. Jared Cochran would like to employ an IU Freshman or Sophomore in an unpaid summer research project. Candidates must be willing to work in a research lab 10-20 hours per week and are expected to apply higher-level mathematical concepts to traditional wet bench biochemistry. Experience with Mathematica software required. No prior wet-lab research experience is required, although a desire to learn new techniques and navigate through scientific obstacles is highly desired. Potential for continued paid undergraduate research position in the lab contingent on performance and/or grant funding.
