Students can apply now for the Paul E. Klinge Science Scholarship. The deadline for the Klinge Scholarship is April 1.
Eligible applicants are undergraduate education majors planning to become science teachers, students entering the Transition to Teaching program with science as their content area or science majors planning to pursue other scientific careers.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement. Award amounts vary, but students typically receive between $2,000 and $4,000 per year.
To qualify for the Paul E. Klinge Scholarship, students must:
- Have completed their sophomore year of study and be committed to a career in either science education or the sciences or be a returning student with an undergraduate degree in science who wishes to earn teaching certification
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 in all classes taken at the time of their application
