The IU Biotech Club is hosting the biannual Research Night on Wednesday, April 8th at 6:30 PM in Simon 0001, where graduate students, post-docs, and faculty members can give a short presentation of their research, and offer positions to undergraduates looking for paid or volunteer positions in a research lab, particularly for summer positions.
Undergraduate research experience is an invaluable opportunity, and allows those interested in pursuing research a first step for their career. Many graduate programs require some sort of undergraduate research experience, and this event provides students the opportunity to find a lab they are interested in!
After a short powerpoint or talk, presenters can provide students with an email to send a resume to or any other method the researcher deems reasonable.
If you’re looking to gain a valuable experience to contribute to your career and education, please come to our event!
