Interested in the health professions? Consider taking the EMT course and lab offered through the Department of Applied Health Science this summer!
There are still seats available in SPH-H401 “Emergency Medical Technician” for three credits and SPH-H404 “Emergency Medical Technician Lab” for one credit. Students MUST enroll in both SPH-H401 and H404. In order to have enough hours for state certification, the classes will meet from the week of May 12th through July 31st. The instructor is willing to provide permission to students to enroll this summer on a case by case basis if they have some medical and/or science background but have not completed SPH-H160 “First Aid and Emergency Care.” Students can contact Instructor Tinsley at email@example.com.
