Study in Hong Kong next spring and earn science credit!

The IUB College of Arts and Sciences has a study abroad exchange agreement with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (“HKUST”), and we are seeking nominations of math and science students for Spring 2016. Instruction at HKUST is in English!

Eligibility requirements:

  • cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • be pursuing a degree in science or math in the College of Arts & Sciences
  • have completed at least 1 year at IU prior to enrolling at HKUST

Interested students should contact academic advisor Jennifer Ashcraft ( by September 1, and be prepared to submit two letters of recommendation and an essay. Applications will be reviewed by the College and then nominated to HKUST. HKUST would like to receive our nominations by September 15, and nominated students will need to complete an online application by September 30.

An IU student who participated in the exchange is willing to be contacted by prospective students. Jennifer Ashcraft will share that student’s email address with interested applicants.
