A molecular lab assistant position is available in the Bever lab (Dept. of Biology) – flexible hours: 10-29 hrs/week. The lab assistant will prepare soil and root samples for sequencing of mycorrhizal fungal communities (DNA extractions, PCR, etc.). There may also be opportunities to assist with greenhouse and field experiments. The Bever lab studies the ecology and evolution of prairie plants and mycorrhizal fungi.
