Thursday, April 20, Concerned Scientists @IU has organized a great event in support of science – Stand Up for Science – this will be in the IU Business School, Hodge Hall 2075 from 5:30-7:00pm.
This event will have presentations from several members of the IU community and a keynote talk from invited guest. Michael Halpern, associate director of the Center for Science and Democracy at the Union of Concerned Scientists in Washington.
Please join the group for what is sure to be a stimulating, informative and motivating event, that makes clear the support at IU for scientific reasoning and practice in our society. It should also help people energize for the Science marches to be held Saturday in Washington, Indianapolis and many other US cities.
