National Scholarship Information Events – April 27 – May 2

Attention students:

A few events about nationally-competitive scholarships taking place before the end of the semester. While these will be of most interest to rising seniors, as deadlines occur early in the fall semester, all students are invited to attend:

  • Learn about the application and nomination process for awards for graduate study in the United Kingdom and Ireland such as a Churchill, Gates-Cambridge, Marshall, Mitchell or Rhodes scholarship. Campus representative Paul Fogleman and selection committee chair Tim Lemper will present information and answer questions. Two identical sessions: Thursday April 27 – 5:30 – 6:30 and Tuesday May 2 – 4:00 – 5:00. Both will take place in room 111 of the Hutton Honors College.

  • Final ‘Fulbright Friday’ of the semester – Friday April 28 – 4:00 – 5:00 – room 108 of the Hutton Honors College. Fulbright awards fund study/research and teaching opportunities around the world. Learn about the program and Fulbright application process. Information will be presented by Fulbright advisers and past and current Fulbright recipients. No reservation necessary. Read about recent Fulbright recipients here.

  • Info session about Knight Hennessy scholarships for graduate study at Stanford University – Monday May 1 – 4:00 – 5:00 – room 111 of the Hutton Honors College.
