Make plans to join us TODAY, Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 between 4:00-7:00 PM in Alumni Hall to connect with multiple graduate schools and programs from around the country! Come meet and talk with representatives about their specific programs.

Students from all majors and schools at IU are invited! If you are unsure of whether or not you should attend graduate school, make sure you schedule an appointment with your career advisor to discuss your career goals and whether graduate school is the best next step in your career planning journey.

Thursday, September 28, is LAW DAY at IUB.  It will be the largest Law School Fair in the country, with over 120 law schools coming to talk to IU students!

The events listed below are great for ALL IU students, including freshmen and sophomores.  But if you are a current applicant or a junior, you should consider attendance at both events mandatory.  Most other college students do not have this opportunity—take advantage!

Learn Critical Foreign Languages Next Summer on a Fully-Funded Study Abroad Program

We are pleased to welcome American students to apply for the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program to learn critical foreign languages next summer on a fully-funded study abroad program.

The CLS Program is an intensive overseas language and cultural immersion program for American students enrolled at U.S. colleges and universities. Students spend eight to ten weeks abroad studying one of 14 critical languages. The program includes intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences designed to promote rapid language gains.

CLS, a program of the U.S. Department of State, is part of a wider government initiative to expand the number of Americans studying and mastering foreign languages that are critical to national security and economic prosperity. CLS plays an important role in preparing students for the 21st century’s globalized workforce and increasing national competitiveness.

Scholarships for Study in Israel in Spring 2018

Study in Israel–Overseas Study Presidential Match Scholarships for Spring 2018

Application Deadline: Friday, November 10, 2017

The Robert A. and Sandra S. Borns Jewish Studies Program at Indiana University is pleased to announce Overseas Study Presidential Match Scholarships for Studies in Israel for Spring 2018. These scholarships may be used to support IU Bloomington undergraduate students who study through IU Overseas Study at the Rothberg International School at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem or at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Tel Aviv University, or the University of Haifa.

Scholarship Amounts:

Scholarships will range from $500 to $10,000. Students will automatically be considered for all scholarships.

Eligibility:

  • Any full-time Indiana University Bloomington undergraduate
  • 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher
  • Studying during Spring 2018 at the Rothberg International School at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem through IU Overseas Study, at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, at Tel Aviv University, or at the University of Haifa.
  • Students applying to external programs (i.e., Nachshon) are eligible to apply.
