Global Environmental Microbiology–Funded Summer Opportunity in CA

Center for Dark Energy Biosphere Investigations (C-DEBI) — Global Environmental Microbiology (GEM) Summer program

Undergraduates (from 2- and 4-year institutions) are invited to apply.

Come to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and travel with us to Catalina Island for microbial ecology lab/field work, exploration, and camaraderie.

Program dates: June 10 – 29, 2018

Applications are due Thursday, February 1, 2018.

C-DEBI, funded by the National Science Foundation, will cover student costs for travel, housing, and food.

Must be at least 18 years old, have taken one college-level science course, and a be a permanent resident or U.S. citizen to participate in the program.
